Curtains, Accordians, and House Cleaning   |   January 22, 2014

Last week Sara was nice enough to let me come over and  use her embroidery machine to make some patches for curtains. I have been wanting to make curtains for Carlie’s room since before she was born but never had made time for it. I embroidered Beatrix Potter pictures for the curtains and I think they turned out so well. I have begun putting curtains together but since I’m making them from my own idea in my head it is slow work.

Becca and Paul came over for a visit and I got to feed him a bottle and hold
him while he slept. Isn’t he too cute!

I hadn’t played the accordion for a long time and when
I started Carlie was scared and looked like she was trying not to cry.

Carlie is fascinated with the dishwasher and yesterday when I was unloading it.
I turned around after putting the silver wear away and saw her standing on the door
and trying to get the tray out.
