 Helping to make cookies!
She would taste the spoon then go back to stirring.
These were “home” cookies, of course.

I got my boots out one day last week, more for fun than warmth.
Carlie wanted to try them on.

I had to go out and hang laundry and wanted to take baby with me.
DSCF1822.jpg
This was the only way I could think he might be happy out there

 It worked so well

I don’t know what it is about hanging laundry but I find it so relaxing.
Perhaps it reminds me of home but I would never use a dryer if I could.

The smell and the feel of air dried clothes are the best.

Regarding the clothesline, I know exactly what you mean. When I feel stressed out, I can relax again and let my blood pressure come back down–if I spend a few minutes alone , hanging out the clothes. I know it sounds silly if you've never been there, but it really does make a difference. Besides, it is rather fun to think of stealing revenue out of the hands of Nova Scotia Power, a company which would much prefer that I utilize my electric clothes dryer.
I put up a second line this spring, cuz the seven people in our home can generate a lot of dirty clothing. However, our little boy decided to practice a bit of zip-lining on it. I am back to one clothesline, and our son's career has come to an abrupt end.

haha…considering the fact our "clothesline" was actually a cable for a dog run and still has the wheel on it I'm sure zip-lining will be experimented here too as soon as they are old enough to know what it is. Why do people keep telling me this is going to get easier? 😀 Love you and appreciate all your comments!
