Maine!   |   December 24, 2015
Surprise, Nessa, we’re going to Maine!!!  So the surprise was a trip to Maine.  We had about two hours to pack but in about an hour and a half we were packed and ready to go.  I don’t think we’ve ever packed for any trip so quickly.

Here’s some of the moments on the very long road trip.  I think it was supposed to be a 27 hour trip that we turned into 2 nights and 2 days.  But that’s 27 hours of straight driving and I needed a lot of sleep along the way.

We are thanking the Lord for a safe trip and many good memories along the way.  The kids are awesome travelers!  Everyone asks how we travel with these two but it really isn’t a problem at all.  On the contrary they are a blessing to have along.  I honestly don’t remember one crying fit or one argument along the way.  We love you Carlie Jane and John Donny!

We made it!  Only about five more hours to go.  We came in the back way to Maine, but really Maine we need a bigger sign.
