This past weekend and through the holiday we’ve been camping in Blackwater State Forest. It’s been fun and we’ve made a few more great family memories. To avoid paying the high fees at an established campground like the Bear Lake Campground we found a primitive site off the Jackson Red Ground Trail and set our camp up there. At the campsite there was already a large picnic table and a fire ring. We have had fun turning this forest enclave in to a livable site. There are plenty of interesting trails to walk and wild blueberries and blackberries throughout the forest. Grandma and Grandpa came out for a visit along with Stephen and his little ones. Thanks for the visit everyone! We enjoyed making some memories together!
We almost drove the car over this ravine but after a skidding stop we were able to carefully skirt it.
We even had running water!
Donny had a fever and his mommy was fixing him up.
