Blackwater River State Forest   |   June 04, 2016

I took the week of Memorial Day off from work and we spent the first half of it camping in Blackwater. We took one afternoon to go swimming in Krul Lake. We packed up on Wednesday and made it home in the daylight that evening. Thursday we spent catching up on things around the house and visiting with Grandma and Grandpa. Today we went for a swim in Red Rock River. In this heat the cool water is wonderfully refreshing.

We went in to town one morning and came back to find a gust of wind from a thunderstorm had blown this tree across the road to our campsite. Nessa ran all the way back to camp to pick up the ax so I could clear the road.
