Missions Trip Babysitting   |   July 27, 2016

The past week and a half we got to have a very sweet, little girl stay with us while her parents were away taking the teens from their church on a missions trip to Trinidad. It was truly a blessing to have Kenna with us. We had a busy week and I’m sure it wasn’t easy for her to be away from her family that long but she was so sweet and adjusted so well to being put into a different family. Carlie was so happy to have an older girl to play with and Donny enjoyed playing along when he could and standing by and laughing at the girls antics when they didn’t let him in.
Finally this morning we got up at dawn and took Kenna to meet her Daddy and Mommy. Carlie was watching Kenna and her Daddy running into each others arms and said, “Aw, Kenna has her Daddy and Mommy again, good for them. Just as it should be.”

We spent an evening at Bear Lake. Catching moments like this make my day.

A movie night at our house is a real treat and we enjoyed special snacks, I made for the occasion.

Donny looked so peaceful sleeping and every time I would kiss his cheek he would smile in his sleep.

I love your splash pad. We like playing on the one near us.
We went to family camp on the bay this year, and had lots of fun. Auntie Michelle’s kids went with us.
