A Day At Copper Breaks   |   October 11, 2016

We decided to take a short break from the road and explore Copper Breaks State Park. It has some interesting land formations when compared to the rest of flat Texas. The air was dry but it was still quite hot. It cooled down nicely at night so we could sleep well. Typical desert where it’s hot during the day and cools as soon as the sun disappears.

There’s copper in the red rock/clay giving some parts of the rock a green tint.
