Daybreak found us in New Mexico where we woke on the side of a mountain with a beautiful view of Bluewater Lake stretching out before us and mountains surrounding on all sides. God made a wonderful world!
Our cheap camp stove that I bought for 15 bucks left us eating a cold meal when we arrived at Bluewater Lake in the dark the night before. Nessa had the good idea of starting a campfire. Wow, I never thought of doing it the oldfashioned way. It doesn’t take long to get used to the conviniences.
We didn’t stay long and we were back on the road headed to Flagstaff, Arizona. We found Bonito Campground just outside of Flagstaff and stopped for the evening.
This time we did arrive with plenty of daylight to get set up and some to spare.
Again it was cold and we decided that in the morning it would be time to upgrade our sleeping bags and campstove while we had the convenience of Flagstaff at our disposal.
