Sloping down to the San Juan River, Goosenecks State Park seems to be the reverse of Valley of the Gods where everything towers in to the air. The scale of everything here in the west is huge! Wide open spaces are the norm with no trees to block your view.

Once again we found that we had the place mostly to ourselves. It must be too late in the year for all the tourists.
