We were able to complete our driveway project just in time to begin our much anticipated camping trip. Saturday morning we packed up the car and headed for Lake Bistineau, Louisiana.

After leaving Florida and crossing Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana we arrived at Lake Bistineau State Park around 9pm. It was a little latter than I had planned but that’s what happens when you pack the car the day you’re leaving.

On our arrival the ranger informed us that the lake was drained to kill off some unnaturall aquatic plant. The lake was full of cypress trees stading in a now dry forest.

We thank the Lord for safe travels! What a beautiful creation, Lord. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
