Folding up camp to head for New Mexico.

We crossed out of Texas and went across most of New Mexico before stopping for the night. Unfortunately we arrived at the Bluewater Lake campground after dark and had to set up camp in the dark.

New Mexico brought us in to the mountains and with it a drastic change in temperature. It was quite cold with the elevation we were camped at.

Nessa and I are not used to the lack of water. There are no spigots at each campsite like there is in Florida. The Florida aquifer and warm temperatures has us spoiled.

When you do see the one spigot that serves the whole campground it has a sign about not wasting water. Welcome to the west. And, of course, you can forget about showers or even bathrooms with running water.
