An Evening for Kyle and April   |   January 04, 2017

Grandma and Grandpa McFarland hosted a special evening to celebrate Kyle and April’s up coming wedding. It was combined as a little family Christmas celebration. It was the first time we got to see April and Kyle in over a year and Aunt Marge and her three children where down for the wedding and got to share the evening with us.

Jay and Owen sharing a little supper.

The couple of the evening, future Mr. and Mrs. Masse.

Auntie Charity with Little Cassie.

Helping Great Grammie pass out gifts.

Auntie April made us the cutest little hats. Donny especially loved the pompoms on his.

Mom made April and Kyle a special quilt.

Grampie shared his “special” reindeer present with Cassie and Owen.

Brett, Carlie, and Donny were so excited they were finally cutting the cake.

It’s so much fun to spend time with brothers and sisters and watch them as parents interacting with their little ones.

Donny sharing cake with Cassie.

The best Dad is the world. I treasure every minute we get to share, they are far too few these days.

Owen’s good night kisses for Gr. Grampie.

Carlie loves her Aunties. I don’t think she remember Uncle Kyle because she walked into the house and asked April,” So, is this man going to marry you?”

Singing carols with Auntie April.

Aunt Marge and Garry chatting with Kyle. Aunt Marge was April’s extra special auntie when she was a little girl and it was wonderful she got to come down from Nova Scotia for the wedding.

Thank you Gram for all your love and hard work that went into this lovely evening. We love you!

What lovely, lovely pics. Thank you so much for sharing these, Vanessa.
It was very special that all of you were together for this event, wasn’t it. I am also so pleased that Marge got down to April’s wedding. I am sure it meant something to April, too, since Aunt Margie was April’s extra special auntie. xoxoxoxox
    I love you,

I was looking so forward to seeing your pictures of your whole trip and the wedding. It was worth the wait. I had to look through them and go back over them again. I so hope we get a trip down to Maine this year, Lord willing.
It doesn’t seem to long ago that we were going down and you “kids” were the ages of your little family members.
    Lots of love.

    Thanks for sharing,

    Aunt Judy

Aw, so happy to hear you enjoyed seeing the pictures. Yes, those days were a while ago now but we keep them in our hearts. I treasure those moments we shared when I was little. It impacted us children for the better more than you realize, I think. I do so hope the Lord might work it out for you to get down to Maine! What a joy that would be! All our love!
